Francisco Javier Delgado Rojas highlighted the importance of having elements of reflection that allow for the continuous improvement of the academic counseling work, taking into account strengths and areas of opportunity. He recognized the commitment and effort of the faculty in the hybrid system that the UPSLP has implemented to promote the return to face-to-face classes in addition to highlighting the contribution of the professors in the progress of the university, mentioning the excellent results in the General Examination for the Graduation of the Bachelor’s Degree (EGEL Plus). To give continuity to the training of the academic counseling faculty in the face of the health emergency, the micro workshop “When words are adopted. The pain of a loss”, by Mtra. Ruth Evelin Rodríguez Celia, psychologist and psychotherapist was given. The objective of the workshop was to know what grief is, its process, its characteristics and its periods in order to help understand, overcome or cope with reactions that involve a loss in oneself and in others.

The Academic Vice-Rector closed the meeting by emphasizing the importance of establishing action points, with specific goals and objectives, in counseling work that allow for timely follow-up to the personal and professional trajectory of the students. He explained that the UPSLP continues with its annual training plan aimed at teachers for the strengthening of skills, considering that there will be new challenges with the next generations who have studied their upper secondary level primarily online. He urged teachers to continue implementing the learning acquired in the last two years in terms of educational technology and teaching-learning techniques within the framework of the return to face-to-face classes in order to maintain the process of continuous improvement of the university.

The Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí thanks and recognizes the teaching and tutorial work of the professors who make up this community for the guidance and orientation of students for their personal and professional life project!
