As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the CISCO Networking Academy Program, the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí (UPSLP) was recognized for being, at the Latin American and Caribbean level, among the 15% of the best partners, thus reaching the status of Premiere Academy. This important achievement means that the UPSLP is recognized as one of the best institutions for the training of students and new instructors as well as in the integration of its alumnae into the workplace. One of the main impacts of the program in the last two years has been to ensure the continuity of learning no matter where in the world students are located; therefore, the CISCO Academy at UPSLP and all those that make up the Latin American and Caribbean region required perseverance, collaboration and focus on their students.

The CISCO Networking Academy Program has expanded to reach 3.2 million students worldwide; Vice President and General Manager, Laura Quintana, said, “We bring it all together for the student, providing a clear skills path to jobs, with powerful partners who truly know education and share CISCO’s commitment to driving an inclusive future for all.”

In this context, the fact that the UPSLP receives this recognition from an external organization at the international level implies a great commitment to continuing to innovate and to share best practices with institutions, international organizations and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, always having as one of the main commitments to train professionals who are prepared for what society and companies require today.
