Professors from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE) Complete Academic Exchange at the UPSLP

As part of the institutional project Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), the UPSLP received four professors from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE), who took part in an academic exchange from October 31st to November 4th.

The visiting professors, who are working to implement COIL projects in the Departments of of Engineering in Systems and Industrial Technologies (ISTI) and International Marketing (LMI), participated as guest professors in the subjects of the following UPSLP professors: Santiago David Muñoz Solorzano with Jessica Amalia Alvarado de la Peña (ISTI – Quality Systems), Edwin Javier Suquillo Guijarro with. Paola Gisela Gutiérrez Sánchez (ISTI – Statistics), Marina Genoveva Zamora Moreta with Alicia Esther Palazuelos Maldonado (ISTI – Analysis and Design of Work I) and Francisco Iván Moscoso Toquica with Xóchitl Hernández Velázquez and Dr. Luisa Renée Dueñas Salmán (LMI – Pricing and Product Strategies).

Likewise, they actively participated in an agenda that was prepared especially for them:

● Presentation from the academic committee “Local Development and Business Competitiveness”.
● Visit to the Integral Center of Marketing and Audiovisual Media (CIMMA), of LMI; Logistics Laboratory of the Center for Engineering in Industrial Systems and Technologies (CISTI); and the Information Technology Laboratory for Industry 4.0 (CCTI) from the Department of Information Technology Engineering.
● Session given by the director of the State Office of Alliance 4.0.
● Session given by the director of the Automotive Cluster of San Luis Potosí.
● Participation, as a jury, in the Day of the Dead altars contest, organized during the Week of the Business Administration Degree as part of the “Day of the Dead Festival 2022”; and
● Visit to the company JTEKT Automotive of Mexico.
