The event consisted of workshops focused on students from the ITI department. One of them was the workshop “Python for beginners” by Liliana Gámez Zavala, full-time professor in the ITI department, in which the different functions of Python and its applications in various areas such as Data Science and Prediction were shared. Finally, there was a panel of graduates with the participation of Dr. Ana Isabel Grimaldo, Magda Karina Beltrán, Sandra Herrera, Diana Rodríguez, Sonia Alvarado and Julieta Rodríguez. The graduates of the ITI degree program shared experiences and challenges they faced in the industry and workplaces, shared some tips for future graduates, and highlighted the opportunities offered by different companies to women, with the aim of closing the gender gap in the workplace, emphasizing the importance of their training at the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí, and the opportunities offered during their studies.
