The Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí through the Department of Information Technology Engineering, the Department of Telematics Engineering and the Department of Computer Systems, in collaboration with AS-CUMARSAID Chliste Connectivity, carried out the “Road to the Cloud” event with great success.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Dr. Mario Alberto Martínez Rojas, Rector; Eng. Luis Antonio López Méndez, Director of Finance and Connectivity Administration AS-CUMARSAID Chliste; Dr. Martha Angélica De la Rosa Hernández, Academic Vice-Rector; Dr. Francisco Cruz Ordaz Salazar, Academic Coordinator of the Educational Programs of Information Technology Engineering and Telematics Engineering; and Eng. Ingrid Guel Hernández, Director of Computer Services.

The objective was to learn about the solutions of the different manufacturers for the operation of cloud technologies, which in turn impacts the technical knowledge of professionals in the area of information technology.

Likewise, the delivery of the 100 Unity certifications and the 1,800 specialized certifications: CCST-UDI, which were the first in Latin America to include the dual certification in Cybersecurity, Certiport (ITS) and Fortinet, was symbolically carried out.

This event is the result of the joint efforts of the company AS-CUMARSAID with the UPSLP as well as the main infrastructure manufacturers such as Cisco, Fortinet, Grupo Dice and MAPS.
