On Monday, September 25th, Dr. Martha Angélica De la Rosa Hernández, Academic Vice-Rector of the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí, received Accountant José Luis Mondragón Fabela, representative of ETC Iberoamerica, exclusive distributor of CERTIPORT, who presented a plaque of recognition to our institution to highlight four fundamental points:

1. UPSLP is an active CERTIPORT certification center.
2. Endorsement of the various certifications it offers to the student community and the general public.
3. The consistent promotion, updating and certification of the students from all degree programs, with a record of:
   1. More than 68,000 certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist
   2. 72 certifications in Entrepreneur & Small Business
   3. More than 1,800 specialized IT certifications
   4. More than 200 Unity Certified Users
   5. To be the first academic institution to incorporate the PMI Ready Certification® program in Mexico.
4. For the internationalization of the UPSLP by participating 4 times in World Championships in Microsoft Office Specialist, representing Mexico in Excel with students who won the National Championship in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

Present at the meeting were: Dr. Francisco Cruz Ordaz Salazar, Academic Coordinator of the Educational Programs of Telematics Engineering and Information Technology Engineering; Gerardo Chávez Reyna, Inter-Institutional Coordination; María Teresa Reyes Harfush, Head of the Certifying Center at the UPSLP; and Liliana Gámez Zavala, Head of the CISCO Academy and professor of the Information Technology Engineering Educational Program.
