The main objective of the Science Laboratory is to establish an appropriate space where technique and science are developed and tested so that students have all of the necessary resources to apply theory to learn concepts and to simulate natural phenomena. This is so that from the beginning of their academic studies, students have access to the latest technological advances to help in their development. This space does not intend to serve as a traditional laboratory where students simply repeat what is said in a manual and only observe without the opportunity to experiment. This laboratory is not a place that students mindlessly complete laboratory manuals without getting the chance to measure and design using their ability.
Currently, the Science Laboratory is a space with a learning environment that enriches conceptual, procedural and attitudinal capacities of students. This helps it to be a dynamic learning space where students can acquire new knowledge through experimentation and where students can go beyond simply checking certain topics seen in the regular classroom.
Using the EBC approach, the Science Laboratory is based on systematically and consistently evaluating the performance of students through a series of activities that allow students to demonstrate their level of development and competence in real life situations.
