In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, the Class of 2020 of International Marketing degree program (LMI) of the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí (UPSLP) began the activities for the formation of the committee of the International Marketing Forum 2024 with an Integration Workshop that seeks to establish the bases for an enriching academic and personal experience.

The workshop was held on Saturday, August 19th, with the purpose of promoting fundamental values such as commitment, teamwork, cooperation and respect. Attendees actively participated in dynamics designed to promote unity and understanding among the class members.

Martin Antonio Arriaga Guerrero, Dr. Mario Cortés Garay and Dr. Francisco Rafael Rostro Contreras, full-time International Marketing professors, worked with the academic coordinator of the career, Xóchitl Hernández Velázquez, to guide students towards the practice of management skills and collaborative work.

In addition, the workshop was enriched by two inspiring lectures, the first entitled “Are you near or far?”, given by Dr. Ulixes Hernández Ibarra; and the conference “The value of healthy and productive relationships at work”, by Mr. Carlos Fernando Martín del Campo Fierro, which resonated in the hearts of those present, urging them to reflect on the importance of proximity and collaboration in the professional world.

The essential element of the day was the active participation of students in a variety of team activities. From problem-solving challenges to creative pursuits, young people strengthened the bonds that bind them together as a generation and future professionals.

“This workshop marks the beginning of an exciting journey for all of us. We realize that our differences are opportunities to learn from each other and grow together,” said one of the attending students, demonstrating the positive impact the event had among young people.

The UPSLP reaffirms its commitment to providing its students with training experiences that go beyond the classroom, and the Class of 2020 Integration Workshop was a clear example of this. With this, the Class of 2020 is preparing to leave its mark on the Marketing Forum 2024, which will surely be a space for innovation and learning.
